About Us
A non-profit field trip company on a mission to revolutionize the education system.
In 2016, we had a dream of connecting education to the real world. We started with smaller, in-person field trips to industry sites where no students had ever been able to go before, to inspire their curiosity and develop their understanding of the systems at play in their world.
Today, we run virtual field trips with audiences from coast-to-coast, built on those same values. Our team develops experiences for Math, Science, Language Arts and Social Science teachers to connect their curriculum to the 21st century. We make it easy for teachers and students to explore new parts of the world, month after month, in real time.
Our Vision
For students from grade 6-12 to actively develop their ability to be the change they wish to see in an evolving world and become leaders of a more just, equitable, and sustainable society.
We work to help students become deeper critical thinkers, and question why things are the way they are in the world, and what they could be.
We strive to make students better problem solvers, and identify issues and trends in society, environment and technology, to find the solutions that have been offered, and learn what skills, perspectives, or careers they need to develop to address these issues.
Our Mission
To organize interactive and cross-curricular field trip experiences that ignite the flame of curiosity for exploration and discovery in the vast intersections between society, economy and environment.
To help teachers, schools & school boards connect their curriculum with real-life, across disciplines, and tap into their inner Ms Frizzles.
To inspire, guide and open the world to students, and to provide them with models of how to think about the big picture and the ways to make an impact in the world, while developing skills and perspective.
To help companies open their doors, show students what they do and share their perspectives on how the world works, while answering students’ questions at their level.
