We want it, we need it, and we use it every day - but what IS money? What makes a metal circle worth 25 cents, and a piece of paper worth a hundred dollars?

Join E2 Adventures on an exploration of the ever-evolving world of currency, finance and digital money, as we discover how physical money is made and circulated at a minting facility, learn about how digital money transactions flow with a company that makes them happen,
and demystify the details of cryptocurrency at an active Bitcoin mine!

TRIP ITINERARY

  • Site 1: Minting facility

In this first part of our journey, we’ll get a behind the scenes tour of a minting facility, discovering in the process how the physical money that is used across the country every day is made, fashioned, and distributed!

  • Site 2: Digital transaction company

Next, we’re off to visit a company that specializes in the digital aspects of money! We’ll get a look at the software and hardware that, for example, makes our bank cards work, and find out about the IT aspect of finance that allows money to circulate around the world.

  • Site 3: Bitcoin Mine

Finally, we’ll blast into an intriguing alternative currency by visiting a crypto-currency mining company! We’ll see firsthand what goes into generating cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Dogecoin, and learn more about their impact and value!
